Software modules have arrived on the HBSGrid! The modules provide users with flexible access to multiple versions of software (e.g., Python 2.7, Python 3.6, etc.), software in home folders and project folders, and settings defaults for specific projects. One no longer has to use only the software version that was previously installed on the Grid.
On Tuesday, July 14, at 2 PM, Bob Freeman will present a special live demo on how to start using these modules, how these will work in NoMachine, and best practices around their use. No registration is required. For Zoom meeting details, please see our intranet site or contact us at email@example.com.
As we continue to make improvements to our research computing environment, we will be holding these Zoom demonstrations to introduce new features and instruct users on best practices. We encourage all cluster users to attend! To receive announcements about these demos, make sure you’re subscribed to our Training mailing list and keep an eye on our training calendar. Recordings of these sessions will also be made available at https://training.rcs.hbs.org/live-demos.
