Xiang came to RCS in 2004 after two years of post-doctoral work at University of Minnesota. His primary research interests are in applied econometrics, statistics, and machine learning. He is always interested in learning and applying statistical and econometric methods for faculty research projects. Xiang earned a PhD in economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has a BS in Engineering from Zhejiang University in China. In his spare time, he plays tennis and soccer.
